The CPA Dude was founded in 2019 and built with the core of saving taxes for individuals and small businesses. We wanted to help those who work extremely hard for their paychecks and educate them on how to minimize their taxes and plan for the future. We have grown since then but still stay true to our core. We are a specialty tax firm dedicated to helping our clients through personalized tax services and strategies.

Tony grew up in his parents’ mom-and-pop restaurant. From a young age, his favorite task was always counting and organizing the cash earned at the restaurant each day.
Before he started The CPA Dude, Tony accumulated years of experience working for Big Four accounting firms and advising top tier companies. He earned his Accounting and Management Information Systems degree at the University of Minnesota’s business school; and shortly after, he obtained his license as a Certified Public Accountant.
When Tony isn’t elbow deep in tax returns, you can find him in the Bay Area lifting weights, bullet journaling, and keeping up with the latest tech gadgets.

Laura is a Tax Manager at The CPA Dude and has over 20 years of experience in public accounting working with several small and medium sized firms in New York City. Over her career, Laura has worked with a wide variety of clients and industries providing tax, consulting, and accounting services for closely held businesses, corporations, and individuals. Laura is always ready with a bright smile and a cheery attitude to assist her clients on a range of issues including income tax planning and preparation of pass-through entities and their owners.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and MBA from The New York Institute of Technology. Laura is an Enrolled Agent which means she is a federally authorized tax practitioner
empowered by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
Laura currently resides in Orlando with her three children. She enjoys traveling, photography and spending time with family and friends.

Bill is a Tax Manager at The CPA Dude and runs many of the day-to-day operations to provide value and dedicated services to our clients. Bill developed his tax skills at the IRS as a former IRS Tax Auditor in Los Angeles and other locations. Bill has passed all 4 parts of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam and is finalizing his CA CPA licensure. When Bill is not working, he is busy spending time with his family.

Jessica is a Tax Associate at The CPA Dude and is currently pursuing her designation as an Enrolled Agent. Jessica’s passion is to learn new skills and gain more knowledge about her career field. She provides tax preparation, bookkeeping, and related services to our business and individual clients. Jessica particularly enjoys the variety of clients she gets to serve. When she’s not working or studying, she spends her time active in the community, traveling, and dedicating her time to her loved ones.

Jamar is a Tax Associate at The CPA Dude and is currently pursuing his designation as an Enrolled Agent. Prior to joining The CPA Dude, Jamar was a Tax Specialist at PWC, one of the Big Four accounting firms, for 3 years. He enjoys connecting with clients and building lasting relationships. Having the ability to educate and service clients all around the US has been very self-fulfilling for Jamar. When he’s not working on taxes, he enjoys music recording and exercise.
